Frequently Asked Questions
1. What makes AC Fitness different from other personal training services?
AC Fitness is rooted in kinesiology and movement science. We don’t just offer workouts—we design personalized programs that emphasize injury prevention, functional movement, and long-term wellness. Whether you’re managing chronic pain, recovering from surgery, or improving general fitness, our approach is safe, intentional, and sustainable.
2. Do you offer both virtual and in-person training?
Yes! We offer flexible training formats: in-person sessions (location-specific) and virtual sessions via Zoom or video platforms. Both options include individualized coaching, program progressions, and real-time feedback.
3. Is this program safe for people with injuries or chronic pain?
Absolutely. Every program is customized based on your medical history, mobility limitations, and goals. We specialize in joint rehab, chronic pain management, and post-surgical recovery—ensuring every movement supports healing and functional improvement.
4. I just had surgery. When can I start training with you?
We recommend starting once your physician or physical therapist clears you for active recovery. We’ll then guide you through a progressive program that complements your medical plan and transitions you safely from rehab to full strength.
5. I’m over 50 and dealing with stiffness and balance issues. Can AC Fitness help?
Yes. Our programs are ideal for older adults looking to improve mobility, prevent falls, and build strength with low-impact, joint-friendly exercises. We help you move confidently—at any age or stage.
6. What equipment do I need for virtual sessions?
Most clients only need a mat, resistance bands, and possibly light dumbbells. We adapt all programs based on what you have at home and provide guidance on affordable tools if needed.
7. How long are the sessions, and how often should I train?
Sessions are typically 45–60 minutes. Frequency depends on your goals and availability—most clients train 2–3 times per week, but we offer flexible scheduling.
8. Do you work with clients who are new to fitness or just getting started?
Yes! We love helping beginners build a strong, confident foundation. Every session is paced to your level and focused on mastering quality movement, not intensity or speed.
9. Can I pause or reschedule my sessions if needed?
Yes, but please note that we have a 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy:
Cancellations made within 24 hours will result in a cancellation fee or session loss, unless rebooked within the same calendar week.
Sessions canceled within 1 hour or less of the start time (or no-shows) will be automatically forfeited.
We understand that emergencies and illness happen—if you're unwell or an urgent situation arises, please contact us before your session to discuss alternative arrangements.
This policy helps us protect trainer time, travel, and ensure fairness across our client schedule.
